I am contemplating filing for bankruptcy as my bills have gotten out of control since my son got sick and I had to take a job making less an hour. I have questions that I am hoping someone will know the answers to before I call a lawyer and get charged for answers. what happens when I file for taxes for the 2009 year if I file for bankruptcy? can I continue to work and if I do, what will happen to the money I earn? is it mandatory to use this to pay back debts? can a credit union personal loan be included in a bankruptcy if it is unsecured? can I file and choose not to add my car payment to what I am filing? any answers to my questions would be great…i am just so confused on what to do and I have no money to work with for all the bills I have.
