I have been paying maintenance for the last 11 years, standard amount each month. Last year I suddenly received a bill for £6,700 arrears. I asked CSa for a breakdown as totally gobsmacked.

This hasn’t been forthcoming, but I now have a bill for £3,800 (?)

I have been communicating with them on a regular basis (both telephone and letter) but had a ‘phone call last week telling me I had to pay the full amount or I would be taken to court. The advisor suggested that I take out a loan to pay the arrears – not good advice for someone on the verge of bakruptcy due to my ex-wife…

The summons arrived yesterday and I still have no idea what this is for. One of the children cited lives with me!

Just can’t understand where these sudden arrears have come from when I have always paid?

Have already signed over the house and am currently trying to pay off the £70k I spent on it…. She won’t even let me see my 7 year old. Is there any justice?
