bankruptcy lawyer
thebuffettour asked:

I was just laid off for the second time in two years. The last lay off lasted 6 months and burnt through all our savings and equity in the house. We were living paycheck to paycheck with the last job.
My wife and I are fine with losing the house but I want to know if there are any questions I should have that I haven’t thought of yet.

One Response to “I am going to see a bankruptcy lawyer tomorrow, what questions should I ask?”

  1. You can go to google.com and type in legalhelpers.
The lawyer will probably tell you what you need to know and its possible to keep your house even with you being behind. He will want to know your assets, how much money you both made in the last 6 months so bring your last paycheck stubs to show him. He will figure out the formula for you with income guidelines for your state. If you have to file then go for it. It’s a legal law that gives everyone the opportunity to start over so good luck
