  1. you really think someone is going to lend you money?? sorry =/

  2. Ofcourse, be smart. Burrow from family and friends. Good enough, yes?

  3. Try to borrow from friends or family because the only other loan will come from a loan shark, which isn’t what you need at this time.

Only if you want to abort the process – you can’t create more debt while wiping out debt

  5. No, you are filing for bankruptcy. A bank will know that you are not going to be able to pay that back. Your best bet would be to ask a friend or relative if they would be willing to let you the money but let them know that you may not be able to pay them back right away or that you may have to pay payments.

  6. Obviously you are already far behind in your bills or you wouldn’t be filing for bankruptsy—-it would be idiotic for any lending institution to allow someone to borrow money when they are already too far in debt…. Isn’t that like robbing Peter to pay Paul? Your loan borrowing days are OVER at least for the next 7 YEARS once that bankruptcy is filed. no car, no credit cards no NOTHING… I don’t know HOW people get themselves in debt so much that they need to claim bankruptsy—I could SEE it if you were a business owner and had bad loses or something but NOT for just an individual who probably went out and OVER SPENT on his or her credit cards… I’d like to THANK you by the way for going into BANKRUPTCY because now, your debts will be absorbed by the rest of us who DO manage to not OVER SPEND and the ones LEAST LIKELY to be able to PAY for someone ELSE’s mistakes….

  7. For the average person, no lender will loan you money while you are filing, and for many years after filing bankruptcy.
Having to come up with funds to pay for your bankruptcy is sort of a catch-22, if you know what I mean.

  8. Filing for bankruptcy isn’t a “process” it is an event. So there isn’t any “while filing” about it. If you haven’t filed yet, and you can find a lender willing to lend to you with a current view of your situation, then you may borrow enough money to be able to afford to file for bankuptcy.
Having the intent to do that, would be pretty close to stealing, however.
Once you’ve actually filed for bankruptcy, then you can, again, borrow from anyone willing to lend you money.
But this whole question (and accompanying answer) goes to the issue of integrity. Apparently you have none!
    Doesn’t that bother you?
Why would you think that others should pay for your inability to provide adequately? Cut expenses. Increase income. Do both!
Work two jobs if you must.
Working for one week at a fast-food restaraunt will pay you enough money to file for bankruptcy. ($7.15 an hour times 40 hours a week equals $286.00.) You can usually file a chapter seven bankruptcy for $250.00.
If you need more, work another week, or ask for extra hours.
I see illegal immigrants out here laying brick, pouring concrete, and shoveling dirt for $7.15 an hour everyday. They are working to support themselves and their families. They don’t have much, but they certainly don’t expect anyone to give them anything. They often only make about $1,000.00 a month. They look hot, tired, and sweaty. You should learn from them how to be an American.
Gain some integrity. Have some dignity. Work!

I’m sorry you got yourself into this mess. I have no idea what personal crisis you’ve had to go through. But I get the feeling that you are sitting in an air conditioned room typing on Yahoo!Answers looking for an easy way out instead of out laying bricks in your neighbors driveway.
Whatever your situation is, it is one that you caused by borrowing money you now don’t have the ability to repay. That’s just plain dishonest. You should be ashamed of yourself!

  9. This is a joke right?

If you can’t pay anything back to begin with why would anyone lend you more?

Sounds like you need to stay away form ANY type of credit.

I understand that People need to file, and there are reasons, but do you really think you should keep borrowing money?
